1858 Pattern Cent. Judd-212, Pollock-263. Rarity-4. Proof-65 (PCGS). 1857/1860 Pattern Quarter Eagle. Judd-270, Pollock-318. Rarity-7-. Proof-62 RB (PCGS). CAC. The obverse exhibits the regular issue Indian cent design of 1859 and early 1860 (pointed bust), with the date 1858 centered in the field below the bust. On the reverse, the denomination ONE CENT is surrounded by an oak wreath with a broad ornamental shield at the top. An olive sprig and group of three arrows are tied at the base of the wreath. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Vibrant tannish-rose surfaces with a full strike and appreciable semi reflective characteristics in the fields. Blemishes are few in number&nbsp;and largely confined to tiny flyspecks that are hardly distracting to the eye.
