This otherwise lavender-gray example exhibits warmer olive-copper peripheral toning that is more pronounced on the reverse. Well worn, as befits the grade, yet still possessed of outline definition to all major design elements. The surfaces are quite smooth despite having seen extensive circulation, and the only abrasions of note are a pair of small digs in the reverse field between the words STATES and OF. A very popular die marriage of the 1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar, O-113 features remnants of an errant E beneath the primary letter A in STATES.
