Lot Description
1926-D Buffalo Nickel. MS-66 (PCGS). OGH. The 1926-D is not only rare in Gem Mint State due to the paucity of carefully preserved survivors, but also due to the fact that most examples of this 5.6 million-piece delivery are very poorly struck. Not so the coin we offer here, which displays nearly full definition on both the obverse and the reverse. Lustrous and satiny, with only a bit of iridescent toning that is most readily evident over the upper half of the reverse. An important find for the quality conscious Buffalo Nickel enthusiast.
