Lot Description
1801 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-4, BB-214. Rarity-4. BB Die State II. EF-45 (PCGS). Secure Holder. Silver dollars of 1801 are scarcer than certain earlier dates. Few are found in high grades and more often than not, high grade examples have surface or striking issues. The presently offered dollar has elegant steel-gray fields and lighter silver devices. There are no surface detriments, just smooth even wear and the coin retains nice eye appeal for an 1801 silver dollar.
