1840-O Liberty Seated Half Dime. No Drapery. V-4. Small O. Repunched Date. AU-58 (NGC). <div style=""padding-top: 3px; padding-right: 3px; padding-bottom: 3px; padding-left: 3px; background-image: none; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; text-align: left; word-wrap: normal; font-family: verdana, helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; background-color: #f6f6f6; width: 600px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: auto;"">An important early issue from the New Orleans Mint, and scarce in high collector grades. Toned with flecks of russet-gold as well as a few traces of greenish-blue spanning both sides. The strike is adequate despite radial reverse die cracks. Scattered nicks and handling marks are present as well as trace planchet roughness common to this issue.</div>
