1856 Seated Liberty Half Dime. MS-65 (NGC). Otherwise dominant steel-gray patina yields to lighter, more mottled, reddish-apricot iridescence over the upper half of the obverse. The toning is fairly iridescent in quality to allow ready appreciation of billowy mint luster. A pretty piece for the collector that appreciates richly toned silver.
