Lot Description
1846 10C VF35 PCGS. As is the case with the better known 1846 Half Dime, the 1846 Dime is a major rarity within its denomination. Only 31,300 pieces were struck, and survivors are rare in all grades. This coin has deep lavender patina on the devices, and golden-brown color appears in the fields when it is rotated under a light. The devices have light rub, but LIBERTY is bold. Population: 4 in 35, 12 finer (9/02).
