Lot Description
1930-S 10C MS67 Full Bands PCGS. This low-mintage issue was only released in 1934-35, by which time the mintage was widely known and pieces were quickly snapped up by collectors and speculators, according to David Lange. Mint State survivors are common, but Superb Gems are not, particularly with Full Bands. This coin is highly lustrous and boldly struck save for slight softness on the reverse peripheral letters. It is essentially flawless save for a minor coin-to-coin mark directly above the I of DIME. The surfaces are bright and display the usual S-mint frost with a hint of apricot toning to the left of Liberty's face. Population: 9 in 67 Full Bands, 0 finer (6/09).
