1796 Draped Bust Quarter. B-2. Rarity-3. VF-25 (PCGS). Secure Holder. Toned with a somewhat mottled blend of lighter gray and deeper gray on both sides. The obverse shows a strong date and all the devices are clear, including most of Liberty's individual curls. For the reverse the eagle is sharp except for the head -- which is always weakly impressed on these. Scattered nicks and a few scratches are present when closely examined, typical of a circulated coin. Identifiable by a small pit in the planchet left of the left wing tip in the field.
