Richly toned in a blend of charcoal-blue and antique-copper patina, this coin retains suitable vibrancy to the luster at the MS-63 grade level. A shallow scuff in the lower right obverse field is the only abrasion of note, and it is somewhat concealed by the toning. Rivaling the 1876-CC as the most readily obtainable CC-mint Seated quarter, the 1877-CC is always in demand for mintmarked type purposes.
