Lot Description
1917-D Standing Liberty Quarter. Type II. MS-66 FH (PCGS). An impressively sharp strike even extends to many of the finest elements of Liberty's head at the upper-obverse border. The inner shield and rivets on the same side are also bold, as is the eagle's breast on the reverse. Shimmering with softly frosted luster, the surfaces are essentially untoned on the reverse yet possessed of delicate pinkish-gold iridescence on the obverse. A gorgeous, premium-quality Gem from an issue that is typically offered with noticeable bluntness to the strike.

Click Here to watch David Hall's personal video reviewing this coin
Click Here to watch David Hall's Introduction to the Malibu Collection of Standing Liberty Quarters
