Lot Description
1917-D Standing Liberty Quarter. Type II. MS-65 FH (NGC). Demonstrating abundant, rich luster and a completely untoned appearance, this early, mintmarked example is most impressive. Liberty's head is fully struck, with a complete brow, ear hole and sprigs, while her shield rivets are mostly visible, though a couple are faint. Abrasions are few and minor with one noted at Liberty's lower abdominal region. This is a marvelous, well-struck Gem.
