Lot Description
1861 Seated Liberty Half Dollar. WB-101. MS-65 (PCGS). Razor-sharp devices, strong mint frost and beautiful iridescent toning combine to make this one of the most visually appealing 1861 Seated Halves ever to pass through this cataloger's hands. We see champagne-apricot, light-pink and lilac-blue colors on both sides, the boldest shades being largely confined to the peripheries. A common No Motto issue in an absolute sense, the 1861-P is nonetheless very scarce in Gem Mint State.
