Lot Description
1902-S Barber Half Dollar. MS-65+ (PCGS). Conditionally rare for this semi key-date San Francisco Mint issue with just 1.4 million pieces produced, this delightful Gem is sure to excite the advanced Barber Half Dollar collector. Both sides are highly lustrous with vibrant frosty-to-semi-PL luster shining forth powerfully at all angles. The surfaces are overall smooth, and they are further enhanced by a dusting of lovely pinkish-silver and reddish-rose iridescence. A shallow, extremely minor planchet flaw (as made) is evident in the lower-right obverse field, but it hardly detracts from the quality or eye appeal of this impressive piece. Sure to sell for a premium bid!
