Lot Description
1915 50C MS64 PCGS. CAC. The low mintage 1915 (138,000 circulation strikes) is one of the more difficult Barber halves to obtain in the better grades of Mint State. Dazzling luster exudes from both sides of this near-Gem, each of which displays occasional splashes of orange and lavender at the margins. The only incompleteness of strike occurs at the upper-right shield corner, which is not unusual for the issue. A few minor marks barely preclude Gem status. Great overall eye appeal. Housed in a first generation holder. Population: 23 in 64, 14 finer (9/11). From The Klamath Mountain Collection.
