An especially bright and lustrous coin that retains full mint bloom and thus bold visual appeal. The surfaces are generally clean for the modest grade with a scuff and a bagmark in the fields, while the devices are clean. The strike was bold enough to outline Liberty's thumb and partially define the central skirt lines over her thigh, as well as the tiny feather definition on the eagle's rear thigh. An impressive example of this coveted date.
