Lot Description
1934 50C MS68 PCGS. Off center swirls of pale golden iridescence are seen on both sides, as well as delicate ice-blue accents toward the borders. This coin is solidly graded at the MS68 level with fully brought up devices, scintillating mint frost, and surfaces that are smooth from rim to rim. The 1934 (6.9 million pieces produced) may be a relatively common Walker in lower grades, but it is an unquestionable condition rarity in MS68. NGC and PCGS combined report only nine coins in this grade, and there is not a single example certified finer (10/02). A find for the PCGS Registry Set collector. From the Trane Collection.
