A boldly struck representative of this early silver dollar issue, with better-than-usual definition still evident on the central devices, and even, sandy-gray toning across both sides. A sight degree of pleasing, satin luster remains evident throughout, and the surfaces only show minimal, superficial marks and imperfections. This style is slightly scarcer than the Three Leaves reverse. The standing eagle on the reverse retains much of the separation of his wing feathers, and the uniform toning adds to the appeal. Late in 1795, the design was changed for the silver dollar, hence this short lived type is always in high demand by collectors.
