Lot Description
1796 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-4, BB-61. Rarity-3. BB Die State I. Small Date, Large Letters. VF-35 (PCGS). Well balanced and appealing at the Choice VF grade level, both sides are more or less boldly defined from what appears to have been a superior strike. Uncommonly smooth for a mid-grade early dollar, the surfaces reveal no sizeable or otherwise outwardly distracting abrasions. Pleasing pearl gray patina with a splash of warmer olive-gray toning further adorning the left obverse border.
