1798 $1 Large Eagle, Pointed 9 VF30 NGC. B-24, BB-124, R.2. Bowers Die State IV. A stone-gray and wheat-gold example with a smooth reverse and scattered minor obverse marks. Traces of luster illuminate the legends. The strike is uneven, soft on the right-side reverse stars but sharper elsewhere. From the Collection of Donald E.
