1799 $1 7x6 Stars XF40 PCGS. B-9, BB-166, R.1. Bowers Die State V. The "Apostrophe" variety with an appropriately located die break following the second S in STATES. The network of cracks on the right obverse are also of interest. This silver dollar has substantial luster for the XF40 grade. Only lightly abraded, and attractively patinated sea-green, powder-blue, peach-gold, and plum-mauve. Housed in a green label holder.
