1802 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-6, BB-241. Rarity-1. BB Die State III. AU-53 (NGC). The pale lilac-gray surfaces exhibit warm golden highlights on the high points, with much retained luster in Liberty's tresses and the reverse eagle. Marks are minimal at best, and the overall eye appeal is substantial unto the grade. High-grade Bust dollars are always in demand in today's numismatic marketplace, the demand caused by Bust dollar fanciers whose numbers have grown large in the past decade coupled with the demand for nice Bust dollars in the type coin market. Specialist or type collector, this specimen deserves a place in your collection.
