Lot Description
1802 $1 Narrow Date. B-6, BB-241, R.1. VF35 NGC. Broken T; Outer arrow point below leftmost base of N. Reiver die state a. Bowers-Borckardt die state I. This coin is plated in the Reiver book for the obverse of this variety. One of the most common of all Bust dollars, the 1802 B-6, BB-241 is available in virtually all grades. Traces of luster remain and the coin is a light golden-gray. The surfaces are free of distractions and the rims, devices and fields are better than usually encountered for a coin that has seen even limited circulation. We note a minor planchet flaw through the first two clouds from the left on the reverse which will serve to identify this coin. No pedigree information included. Envelope Included.
