Lot Description
1802 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-6, BB-241. Rarity-1. Bowers Die State III. Narrow Date. EF-45 (NGC). CAC. This originally toned example exhibits vivid cobalt-blue peripheral highlights to otherwise dominant gray-apricot patina. For the reverse we also note glints of reddish-russet iridescence scattered about. Lightly, yet evenly worn, with overall bold definition and only a few wispy abrasions that are not out of place on a circulated silver dollar of this early U.S. Mint type. An appealing piece.
