The fields are lustrous while the devices show mint frost on this Choice Liberty Seated dollar. Toned with a dash of peach over steel-silver patina, and attractive to the eye. The surfaces show the usual scattered bagmarks and scuffs when closely examined, but none are that deep or detracting, hence the Choice grade for this example. The 1859-O issue was discovered in bag quantity a few generations ago, and many lower end Mint State coins trace to this incredible discovery. The best of the group was the equal here, but most were in lower grades.
