Lot Description
1859-S Seated Liberty Silver Dollar. AU-53 (PCGS). An essentially white coin that retains traces of luster in the protected areas. The strike is better than average although trace softness is found on the eagle's neck and thigh. Liberty's head shows partial curl definition too. Always in demand for the low mintage of 20,000 pieces and ever popular Gold Rush era issue. The surfaces have no distracting bumps or scratches, as hoped for but seldom found by collectors.
