Lot Description
1872-CC Seated Liberty Silver Dollar. VF-30 (PCGS). OGH. The 1872-CC is actually the second most obtainable Carson City Mint Seated Dollar despite having a paltry mintage of just 3,150 pieces. A lot of "blue sky" separates this issue from the more common 1870-CC, however, and the 1872-CC is an important rarity when viewed in the wider context of the rare coin market. An attractive Choice VF, this untoned, silver-white piece offers considerable boldness of detail in the presence of moderate wear. There are no sizeable or otherwise individually distracting abrasions.
