1881-O Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65 (NGC). Early New Orleans mint Morgan Dollars tend to exhibit severe bagmarks, though this specimen is a notable exception to that rule. Its silken smooth, icy white surfaces are quite free of all but the most minor of surface marks, and its luster and strike are quite superior, making it an ideal representative of the date for a well-chosen Morgan Dollar set.
