1887-S Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). The typical survivor of the lower-mintage (1.7 million pieces) 1887-S Morgan Dollar grades no finer than MS-64. You can imagine our delight, therefore, at being able to showcase this premium-quality Gem in PCGS MS-66. Truly a marvelous piece, both sides are exceptionally smooth without so much as a single distracting abrasion. A whisper of pale-gold iridescence is discernible near the upper-obverse border, but the overall appearance on both sides is one of frosty-white brilliance. Boldly struck and highly attractive, this lovely Morgan would do justice to the finest collection. Tied for finest certified!
