1893-S $1 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. XF. A nicely detailed slate-gray example with glimpses of caramel-gold toning where traces of luster reside. The surfaces are moderately subdued, and we note a few faded scratches on the cheek. The remainder of the coin is minimally marked, given its stint in Old West commerce.
