Lot Description
1894 Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-62 (PCGS). Frosty, lightly toned in clear gold and mark-free for the grade; this coin's reverse exhibits a near absence of contact, lending the look of an MS-64, while the obverse is more consistent with PCGS' given grade. As the second lowest mintage of the entire Morgan Dollar circulation strike series, the 1894 is always popular, yet seems to be readily available in grades AU and lower. Pleasing Mint State specimens like this, on the contrary, are much more difficult to locate without mounting a broad search.
