1903-S Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65+ (PCGS). CAC. This is one of the tougher dates to find in mint state, as most of the examples known today are circulated to some degree, often to quite a degree in fact. Hence the demand for Mint State coins is always high, and with each grade point finer the demand only increases. At the Gem level there simply aren't enough to go around to meet collector demand. This outstanding example possesses the coveted "+" grade over the MS-65 level and has the CAC seal of approval. Of course the fact that the coin itself is a glowing white Gem with a dusting of pale peripheral gold adds to its immense charm too. An important and desirable example for the date and mint specialist who demands high eye appeal along with technical quality.
