Lot Description
1908 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS. CAC. President Theodore Roosevelt desired to introduce new coin designs during his time in office, and that desire led to the Indian gold pieces that were first minted in 1907 (eagle) and 1908 (quarter and half eagles). The two smaller denominations were designed by Bela Lyon Pratt. This first-year quarter eagle is a brilliant yellow Gem with frosty luster and bold design motifs. Both sides have trivial grade-consistent marks.
