Whereas 1875-CC tends to be weakly struck, the prior year's coinage, especially the $10 Eagle, is, as a rule, the exemplar of sharpness. As viewed here, either under a loupe or by means of the supplied photographs, it is plainly evident that the stars are full, Liberty's hair complete, and the eagle, always a source of problem with this mint's coinage, is as sharp as can be. With luster present in and around the devices, the grade is exact. With eye-appeal that won't quit, this coin's value to the collector is locked in stone for all eternity. We encourage a big bid.
