Lot Description
1910-S Indian Eagle. MS-64 (PCGS). An impressively lustrous specimen with the overall appearance of a coin that is strictly top-notch for the grade. Bold orange-gold surfaces are alive with splashes of orange and rose iridescence, all adding immeasurably to the outstanding in-hand appeal. While more than two dozen grading events have occurred for this scarcity at MS-64, we suspect some number of those may be resubmissions. The Red Book value for this date in MS-63, the highest grade listed, takes a leap upward by a factor of more than seven times that of the MS-60 listing. In MS-64, its rarity is well-appreciated by those "in the know" in the Indian eagle series. Undeniably choice for the assigned grade, and a coin that holds up well to close-in scrutiny.

Numismatic Reflections by Q. David Bowers
This is another ideal coin, a scarce mintmark variety in relatively high grade, with nice eye appeal, and yet priced significantly below what a higher grade coin would sell for. As such it is ideal for a high level collection of 1907-1933 Indian eagles.
