Lot Description
1911 $10 MS66 PCGS. Bright, satiny, unbroken luster ripples over the fine-grained surfaces, yielding a shimmering sheen that is most appealing. The color is a delectable sunrise-gold. Both sides reveal a phenomenal lack of abrasions, large or small, even under magnification. For future identification, an angling mark is noted in the reverse field between the olive branch and the juncture of the eagle's leg to the breast. MS66 is an exceptionally high grade in which to locate an Indian eagle. This coin would be difficult to duplicate, whether from 1911 or any other year. A superior choice for a high grade gold type set. PCGS has graded eight finer (3/06).
