Among the key dates of the design type, the 1911-D was struck to the tune of just 30,100 pieces, with that figure representing the lowest production figure of regular-issue dates in the series. The soft honey-gold surfaces exhibit lively retained luster and mint frost in the protected areas, and despite the lengthy stay in commerce marks of a serious nature completely elude the unassisted eye. Choice for the grade and a great selection for a mid-grade Indian eagle set.
