Original honey-orange surfaces with a sharp strike and suitably vibrant luster at the lower reaches of Mint State. Otherwise free of individually distracting abrasions, a shallow scuff in the left obverse field is noted. One of just 51,000 pieces produced, and conditionally scarce for an issue that is almost always offered in worn condition. Jeff Ambio (2008), in fact, accounts for fewer than 200 Mint State survivors of the '11-S ten, the vast majority of which grade MS-60 to MS-63.
