Pleasingly sharp in strike for the type, this reddish-gold example is swirling with softly frosted luster. There are no singularly mentionable abrasions, just the normal number of mostly small bagmarks for a large gold coin at the MS-62 level. Despite it's status as the most plentiful S-mint Indian eagle in today''s market, the 1916-S is a conditionally challenging issue that is infrequently offered in finer grades.
