Ron Guth: The 1968-D Nickel is a very common coin in all grades, including Gem Mint State.  Like many of its contemporaries, it is an extreme rarity with Full Steps.  The finest 1968-D Nickels certified by PCGS include over 180 MS66s, and just two finer.
