Ron Guth: The 1910 Dime is a common coin and a great value for type collectors.  The mintage is just over 11.5 million coins (over a million coins more than in the previous year), thus it is easy to find nice examples in a wide range of grades.  Gems and superb examples show up on the market with relative frequency.  PCGS has certified over a dozen MS67 examples, but the real highlight of this date is the PCGS MS68+ example that once graced the Simpson Collection.  This is one of only two MS68+ Barber Dimes of all dates certified by PCGS, and the quality of each is simply extraordinary.

The 1910 Dime is usually well-struck and well-made, reflecting the superior quality of Philadelphia Mint products.
