Ron Guth: The 1833 Half Dollar is a common date with a large mintage of over five million coins.  Al Overton listed fifteen different varieties for this year, plus three distinct die states.  Hundreds of Mint State examples exist, mostly in MS62, MS63, and MS64.  A small handful of high-quality examples exist at the MS66 to MS67 levels, all led by a stunning PCGS MS68 example (one of the finest Capped Bust Half Dollars ever seen and one of only two PCGS MS68's in existence).
