David Akers (1975/88): Scarce in all grades; in fact, significantly more scarce than the lower mintage 1890. As a date, the 1891 is very nearly as rare as the 1892 which has a mintage only one fourth as great. However, I have seen a substantial number of extremely choice uncirculated 1891's, but very few really choice 1892's.
